Has your need for a storage unit come to an end? First, we’d like to thank you for using Phil’s for your storage needs. Your business means a lot to us, and we hope that you’ll remember us in the future, whether it’s for yourself or your friends and family. Also, please remember that rent is not prorated.
Next, here are some tips that should make this process smooth for you.
1. Notify us at least 5 days in advance by filling out this form.
2. Empty your storage unit.
Please remove every item from the property so we can cancel your account. Make sure to leave the unit how you
received it with a quick sweep.
3. Remove your lock.
If the lock is left on the unit, even an empty one, the unit is still occupied by you, and you could still be
responsible for rent for the space. Please pull down the door to the unit before you leave. The lock is yours to
keep.
4. Let us know you’re done.
Even if you gave advance notice, please contact us as soon as you have completely moved out of the unit, so we can
cancel your account. Please do not vacate the space without letting us know. Not informing our office could result
in you continuing to be charged for the space.
Thank again for trusting Phil’s Self Storage!
